If you have a technical problem you would like to discuss, we would like to hear about it. Describe what you are working on and we will be in touch.
I had the pleasure of working with Zach Gelbaum on a blockchain analytics research initiative at USC that aimed to develop new methods for understanding the microstructure of decentralized markets. Our collaboration focused on designing data pipelines and graph-based models for analyzing Ethereum transaction networks and identifying clusters of market participants operating across DeFi protocols.Austin Pollok, PhD
Zach brought exceptional technical depth and rigor to the project, particularly in the areas of blockchain data engineering and mathematical modeling. He was instrumental in helping translate raw on-chain transaction data into structured network representations that could support modern machine learning approaches, including graph neural networks.
What stood out most in working with Zach was his ability to bridge deep theoretical thinking with practical implementation. He approaches complex technical problems with clarity and creativity, and he is equally comfortable discussing high-level research questions or diving into the details of data extraction, protocol mechanics, and infrastructure.
I greatly enjoyed collaborating with him and would strongly recommend Zach to any organization looking for rigorous analytical thinking, strong quantitative skills and a thoughtful approach to solving challenging technical problems.
